Paul Dickov speaks ahead of Sunday's match against Millwall
Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov spoke to the official website in the build up to Sunday’s match against Millwall at the Keepmoat Stadium.
“Results-wise recently it has been poor and we need to see a reaction, it happened earlier in the season, where we bounced back and got results and I am confident we can do that.
“Getting through this period with injuries and keeping away from the bottom three is a massive objective for us.
“There is no point hammering the back four especially when you’ve got a couple of young kids in there. You’ve got to help them, sit down and go over the goals by watching them and then by working at the training ground. Sometimes making mistakes can work in your favour because you have to learn from them and learn from them quickly.
“We have to keep the players positive, I know after four defeats and conceding 12 goals that is a hard thing to say, but I am a positive guy. I believe in the group and believe in the players.
“They are a good bunch, I think we are lacking a bit of experience and belief in what we want to do, but with the ball we look really good.
“This is what we’ve got, we stick together and we go again. When you’re having a bad time there is nothing better than proving people wrong.
“The fans have been fantastic for us this season. Millwall is an important fixture and it is vital that we all stick together to go in the right direction.”
