Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player about Tuesday night's point and looks ahead to Bolton going up against fellow Scotsman Freedman.
Paul said; "The win and draw were obviously important because we want to keep a gap between the strugglers and us as we go into the Christmas period. We know that to keep this we have to perform consistently and keep the points flowing in. With the three bottom clubs all winning the other night it made the point at Birmingham even more important.
Dickov turned his attention to this weekends fixture at Bolton adding; “Although Bolton have hit a sticky period, we saw them go unbeaten for 8 games before, so know they are a tough side full of top class players such as Matt Mills who was here and Zak Knight, so will be looking to get their promotion push back on track.
“I have known fellow Scotsman Dougie (Freedman) since I was 16-17 and he has done a fantastic job there after joining from Palace. He did a great job at Palace and is one of the reasons they are in the Premier League by bringing good young lads through their youth policy. He came to Bolton and took them up the table, just missing out on the play offs. It will be a good atmosphere in a good stadium, so hopefully as we did at Wigan we can react and put in a performance.”
