The Football League has asked its clubs to hold a minute’s applause ahead of matches this weekend to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela, who died yesterday at the age of 95.

Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player about Tuesday night's point and looks ahead to Bolton going up against fellow Scotsman Freedman.

Paul said; "The win and draw were obviously important because we want to keep a gap between the strugglers and us as we go into the Christmas period. We know that to keep this we have to perform consistently and keep the points flowing in. With the three bottom clubs all winning the other night it made the point at Birmingham even more important.

“I think we have changed our mentality a bit over the past few games which as allowed us to come from behind to win or draw. It's something we had not done this season till the QPR game. What we try and do is stay in the game rather than go all out to win the game. We are making ourselves harder to beat and the longer the game goes on opportunities to win it come up like against QPR. It has boosted our confidence levels and we beat what I consider is the best team in the league, so its done massive good for all of us.
