Donny Dog On Tour – Wembley

8 February 2013

It’s been an unbelievable week after making my International debut at the England v Brazil game at Wembley on Wednesday.

It was fantastic to be involved in such a great occasion and I enjoyed every minute of it!

I arrived at the Furry Mascots meeting point at 5pm where I met my two lion friends (Reading mascot & Bristol City mascot).

We were taken into our lion’s den by the FA representatives who were looking after us and we were fed and watered.  My name changed to Paws for the day and my friends were Mane & Roary.

At 6pm we were taken into the concourse area where we greeted families and had lots of photos taken.

The first opportunity I got, to do the Gangnam dance I did it, infront of the ITV cameras too!  The fans were brilliant and we prowled around amongst the excited fans.

We were taken pitchside where the atmosphere was unbelievable.  The players were warming up on the pitch, there were so many photographers and there were Three Lions!  We waved, danced and fans reached over to shake our paws.  We had more photos taken and then taken inside before the game kicked off.

Half time and we waited with the samba dancers and I was making them laugh with my great samba moves.  We returned pitchside and this time I did the Gangnam Style dance in front of the Brazilian fans - they thought it was brilliant.

We made a lot of people very happy and it was an experience we will never forget.  I am hoping to get back to Wembley with Rovers again, anything is possible.

England and the 3 lions were victorious.

I want to see lots of you at Keepmoat against Walsall and MK Dons.

Rovers til I die.....roaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrr
