Doncaster Rovers have received a special letter thanking the club for the Attendance4Attendance Scheme that we offer.
School children around the borough are rewarded for 100% attendance at school by receiving two tickets to watch Doncaster Rovers.
One recipient of the free tickets was Liam Byne. Liam’s father Ryan contacted Rovers to thank the club for the matchday experience.
“I would like to thank the club for a fantastic day on Saturday 23rd February, at the Yeovil Town game. My son, Liam, who is 3 years old, received 2 free tickets for the game, for 100% attendance at his school.
I've taken Liam to a Rovers game before, but he was too young and it was a tough experience keeping him entertained.
I was a little nervous about taking him to the Yeovil game, so I packed him a little bag with toys and books just in case he got bored at the game.
We had a great day, which involved buying a couple of items from the club shop pre-match, and buying drinks and hot-dogs from the food bars within the stadium - of which I think were suitably priced, and of excellent quality.’’
He didn't even need them, as he loved watching the Rovers, and greeting Donny Dog.
I'd like to thanks DRFC for the great initiative in issuing the free tickets. I'm sure it will combat young supporters turning to Man Utd and Chelsea, rather than DRFC.
A massive THANK YOU.
From, Ryan and Liam Byrne”
