A premier Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) show is heading to Doncaster this summer (July 2013).
The event, which will take place at the Keepmoat Stadium, will feature top fight action and have a number of music acts performing.
UCFC spokesperson Carl Messen said: “The Ultimate Cage Fighting Championship (UCFC) event at Keepmoat Stadium will be one of the biggest fight events in the UK with thousands of tickets available to buy.
“This is a totally new concept. Not only will the Keepmoat Stadium have some of the best fight talent in the UK on its card through the UCFC show, it will also have premier music talent care of our partners Base Africa, one of the foremost music promoters.
“Our plan is to bring something completely different to the fight scene. This is why we will feature some of the best fight talent in Great Britain and abroad.”
The event is scheduled for July 2013. Standard tickets and corporate boxes are available.
The Keepmoat Stadium is a modern venue with a capacity of 15,000 and is home to the Doncaster Rovers, Doncaster Rovers Belles and the town’s Rugby League team, The Dons.
The UCFC is already a successful brand which has seen some of the best fighters from the USA, Germany and UK compete.
Carl added: “This is going to be one of the biggest shows in the UK and will help to raise the profile of MMA in the country to new heights.
“We will also be shortly announcing a very special guest for the UCFC Keepmoat Stadium show. This is one of the legends of the fight world.
“He will be coming not only to the show as a guest but also will be holding a series of seminars that no-one will want to miss.”
