Second Place For Programme Design

2 January 2013

Doncaster Rovers are proud to announce that the club’s match day programme, ‘RTID’ has been awarded as runner up for the best designed programme.

‘RTID’ has been praised for its originality and overall professional design.

Programme Monthly said: “We’ve already complimented ‘RTID’ on a very professional design. Doncaster’s content is solid with all the required bases covered.

“Little touches like the opposition pages featuring fonts and backgrounds in the visitors’ colours are winners”

Media Manager, Steve Uttley, is proud to have achieved second place: “To be awarded second place for the design of the programme is fantastic, a lot of hard work goes into producing ‘RTID’ so to be acknowledged like this is brilliant

“I’d like to thank our designer Matt Oliver at OPublishing in his first season designing the Rovers programme. He’s made a significant difference to the design.

“He’s continually looking to enhance the design as the season goes on often having to redesign pages right up to deadline time”

Beaten to first place by Notts County, one of the favoured pieces in the ‘RTID’ programme is the original style of the pullout posters and this is something Programme Monthly admired.

“This uses a standard player image, but design techniques turn it into a pencilled artwork, creating a much more interesting image”

Don’t forget to pick you a copy of the Colchester United ‘RTID’ match day programme on Saturday from all around the ground for £3.
