Doncaster Rovers FC have strengthened their Commercial squad with the appointment of Jon Warburton.
Jon, aged 27 from Sheffield, joins the Rovers team in the role of Commercial Executive, having previously worked in a similar role at Sheffield United. He is relishing the opportunity to showcase his skills and expertise within the football industry at the Championship club.
Jon said: “I am delighted to have joined Doncaster Rovers at such an exciting time for the club. I will be bringing a wealth of experience to my new role and I am looking forward to working with Andrew Whitham and the team to deliver great results.
“The club is very much at the heart of the community in Doncaster and I will be making sure that I integrate and engage with the local business community.
“There are so many commercial opportunities for local businesses and people to get involved with at Rovers . From player shirt and match day sponsorship to advertising boards, event and stand sponsorship there is a commercial package to suit every budget.
“I am very much looking forward to networking and meeting lots of likeminded Rovers fans and working hard to develop and strengthen partnerships between the club and the business sector in Doncaster.
