Doncaster Rovers are pleased to announce yet another ‘From the Locker Room’ prize winner.

‘From the locker room’ gives Alliance members the chance to win a piece of Doncaster Rovers history, pairing members with signed memorabilia from the Doncaster Rovers squad.

The latest prize up for grabs was a training top worn and signed by Rovers captain Rob Jones. The lucky winner of this fantastic prize is season ticket holder Howard Avill

As a reward for his continued support of the development of young players at the club, Howard is now the proud owner of this unique prize.

Howard, a member of the Alliance and season ticket holder since 2009, has been a supporter of Rovers since the days of Peter Doherty at Belle Vue.

Upon receiving his prize Howard revealed that he was looking forward to seeing James Husband and Jon Maxted in action next season: “I enjoyed seeing James Husband play last season; he really puts his heart into the game and isn’t frightened to put in a powerful tackle as he proved against Hull City last season.

“I hope to see Jon Maxted featuring occasionally next season; it’s great to see the youngsters coming through and knowing we are supporting them through the Alliance.

“I’m looking forward to watching good football next season whilst aiming for the top; if we do finish mid-table I will still be very pleased.”

The training top is just one of many fantastic pieces of signed Rovers memorabilia up for grabs through the Rovers Alliance in the coming weeks; including Tommy Spurr’s signed football boots and goal-keeper gloves from Jonathan Maxted, who like Husband, is a former youth team player and a product of the Rovers Alliance.
