Rovers To Open Season Against Blackpool

Doncaster Rovers Football Club will open their 2013/14 Championship campaign against Blackpool at Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday 3rd August.

Rovers secured an instant return to the Championship courtesy of James Coppinger’s last minute goal against Brentford on the final day of the league campaign last season.


The game, which will livelong in the memory of every Rovers supporter, secured a return to the second tier of English football for Rovers and the fixtures for next season have been announced.


The eagerly awaited release of all English domestic fixtures in the Football League and Premier League has handed Rovers a home fixture on the opening day.
