World boxing fans are set to descend on Doncaster as the Keepmoat Stadium has been chosen to host the IBF Bantamweight world title fight in May.
Doncaster’s very own Jamie McDonnell will be disputing the IBF Bantamweight crown against Mexican Julio Ceja at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday 11 May.
Keepmoat Stadium has beaten off competition from venues in Mexico and New York to host the fight and Jamie will have home advantage at the Keepmoat. The event will be the first time the
Stadium has hosted a night of international boxing.
Tickets for one of the biggest sporting events in the history of Doncaster are on sale from 10am on Saturday 23 March from the ticket office at Keepmoat Stadium.
Over 7,000 seats have been made available for the fight and are available at the following prices;
£35 - Rear seating
£50 - Regular seating
£75 - Prime seating (central to ring)
