Coppinger’s Signed Boots

Doncaster Rovers recently announced the return of the Rovers Alliance ‘From the Locker Room’ prize draw. ‘From the locker room’ gives Alliance members the chance to win a piece of Doncaster Rovers history, pairing members with signed memorabilia from the Doncaster Rovers squad.

The first prize up for grabs was a pair of James Coppinger’s signed match boots, worn by the Rovers midfielder this season.  Doncaster Rovers are pleased to announce that the lucky Alliance member that will be walking away with James Coppinger’s signed match boots is Jim Ryan.

These boots are sure to be highly sought after as a crucial part of Rovers history. James Coppinger scored the last minute winner at Brentford, securing Rovers promotion to the Championship as 2012/13 League One Champions.

As one of the longest standing players at Doncaster Rovers, Coppinger has featured in many of Rovers successes, including the Jonestone’s Paint Trophy Final win in 2007 and the 2008 league 1 play off final at Wembley Stadium which resulted in promotion the Championship after beating Leeds United.

The boots are just one of many fantastic pieces of signed Rovers memorabilia up for grabs through the Rovers Alliance in the coming weeks; including Captain Rob Jones and Billy Painters training sweat tops and Tommy Spurrs boots. Not forgetting a training shirt from James Husband and goal keeper gloves from Jonathan Maxsted, both former youth team players and products of the Rovers Alliance themselves.

If you would like to be in with a chance of winning one of these fantastic pieces of memorabilia or for more information about the Rovers Alliance, please click here to download the brochure, or e-mail roversalliance@doncasterroversfc.co.uk or call 01302 764659 for more information.
