Monday afternoon saw the unveiling of Rovers’ new manager Paul Dickov and as a part of the Ulimate Season Ticket package the club invited two lucky supporters to attend the press conference.
Season Ticket Holder Elizabeth Johnson and Rovers Alliance member Nick Beech were invited to the media event at the stadium and were able to listen in on Paul’s first interview as manager of Doncaster Rovers.
The Rovers mad pair were the first supporters to see who would manage the club whilst others waited with baited breath for the news to be officially released.
After the event a visibly delighted Nick Beech shared his views on the afternoon’s proceedings: “It was really amazing that I was lucky enough to get asked to go to the press conference courtesy of the Rovers Alliance prize draw.
“It was a real honour to attend the event, and to be the first Rovers supporter to find out who our new manager is, was incredible.
“After listening to Paul speak I think the club have made a really positive appointment and with the contacts he has I believe he will bring some great players to this club.
“I think the fans should get behind him now and make him feel welcome in Doncaster.”
