As a part of the clubs drive to reward fans for purchasing season ticket, 56 lucky season ticket holders, chosen at random, got the chance to emulate their hero’s.
The chosen supporters were given the opportunity to play on the Keepmoat Stadium pitch ahead of the promotion winning game at Brentford.
As a part of the ‘ultimate season ticket package’ prize draw, the die-hard Rovers supporters were selected to experience a match at the stadium just like their idols do on a Saturday afternoon.
The lucky supporters got the chance to take part in the full match experience starting in the changing rooms where Rob Jones and the boys gather on a match day.
As kick-off approached; the teams walked out of the tunnel, to the tune of Wild Rover, with family and friends watching on from the stands.
The players were then split into four separate teams and two games were played.
The first fixture saw the Rovers Reds take on the Rovers Whites. In an entertaining game the Whites came out on top with a 7-5 victory.
The second fixture saw Rovers Bibs defeat the Rovers Non-Bibs 5-4 in what was a close encounter with Donny Dog on hand to cheer them on!
