The Rovers squad is being stretched to the limit with current injuries and suspensions, Paul explains the situation about bringing Dave Syers back.
Syers is currently on loan to local rivals Scunthorpe United, speaking to Rovers Player Paul explained about why he can't yet return to Rovers.
“We would love to bring Dave Syers back but unfortunately we can’t because the way the rules are for loans. There was a break in his loan for the FA Cup, which we did not want him cup-tied which there is a weird ruling that means because of the break it is not seen as a consecutive loan, so we have no call back within 28 days”.
