Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player ahead of the re arranged fixture at The Valley against Charlton Athletic.
Paul said; “The last time at Charlton it was an experience but looking back it was probably the right decision. It was a bit shambolic at the time but we have to get that out of our heads especially if you look at where the 3 points could have taken us.
"It’s going to be a totally different game with different personnel but we feel after last week’s victory we can go and have a go at them with a bit less pressure. We are going with a mind set that we want to go 8 points clear of the bottom 3, so really have a desire to do well.
“We will be concentrated on what we have to do tomorrow night. They are a good team who played a tight game against QPR last Saturday and have some quality in the team. Defensively they are sound and like lots of games in this division it will be tight with the victors being who takes their chances.
"Watching games on TV Saturday night you see that lots of goals come from individual errors so we have to make sure it’s not us who make them.
"I know Chris Powell from the Leicester days and know what a top guy he is who will have his lads fired up. He’s done a fantastic job down there after getting them promoted, so will be looking to move them up the table by getting their home form better than it has been”.
