Kick It Out has launched a FREE national competition, entitled ‘Write to Unite’, in conjunction with the Arvon Foundation, the creative writing company.
The ‘Write to Unite’ competition officially opened on Friday (1 November) and will look for young people, aged 7-18, from across England to creatively display how football can unite people regardless of their background.
Entries can include: a poem, story, song or chant a match report, player interview or a feature to appear in a match programme or website feature.
The competition has three age categories, 7-10, 11-14 and 15-18, with 31 January 2014 at 5pm the deadline for submission.
The winners of the categories could be in with a chance to win prizes including an England shirt, match tickets, books and signed merchandise.
