Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player ahead of Rovers trip to Oakwell this weekend.
"I have seen a lot of them (Barnsley) this season, even when they were losing games. They are passionate people like ourselves and it will be a game full of blood and thunder. It's a derby game and the team that has the most desire will win!
"In my experience of playing and my short time being a manager, in derby games it doesn't matter what has happened before. It's a fantastic game, it's a derby game and not just against our rivals locally but in the table as well."
Speaking about who could possibly feature in the team Dickov said; "I thought McCullough did well on Saturday, if you look at the circumstances in which he come in to the team and made his Championship debut. He is a young boy with a lot of ability but he is still learning the game.
"Theo will be fine he was training today and he will be fit for Saturday. He is a big plus for us and we missed him last week because his pace is a threat for us and a problem for a lot of teams in this division."
