By BBC London 94.9 Sports Reporter Jamie Reid

QPR have got off to a great start. we are now a third of the way through the championship season and they are well placed for an immediate return to the Premier league.

After being relegated last season, manager Harry Redknapp spoke of the championship being full of quality clubs and added that it will be difficult to go straight back up. I wouldn’t disagree. The league is certainly very competitive but the West Londoners have won ten of their 16 matches, with five draws and just the one defeat - to league leaders Burnley.

The R’s are certainly difficult to beat and have conceded just eight league goals so far – the fewest in the division. Goalkeeper Rob Green has performed admirably and has been well protected by the defence, led by captain Clint Hill and the experienced and ever-reliable Richard Dunne.

The Super Hoops will prove tough opponents for Doncaster Rovers this afternoon. It should be a good game.
