Doncaster Rovers have refused permission for David Syers to play for Scunthorpe United in their FA Cup Replay against Grimsby Town tonight.
This is to prevent David from becoming cup tied. This will keep Syers available for selection for any cup fixtures that Doncaster Rovers wish for him to play in once his loan spell at Scunthorpe United finishes.
