A group of Doncaster Rovers fans are walking from the Keepmoat Stadium to Oakwell this Saturday to raise money for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity.

The group, which includes our very own Supporter Liaison Officer, Lee Croft are aiming to raise £500.

The walk is named after Tony Bailey, a lifelong Barnsley fan who had a soft spot for Doncaster Rovers. He has children and grandchildren that are Rovers fans and he even saw Doncaster Rovers triumph at Wembley.

The walking group will consist of up to ten members and will start at Keepmoat Stadium from 8am on Saturday 9th November with an aim of completing the 20 mile trip by 2pm on Saturday afternoon

Mick Bailey, who along with his son Louis, have organised the walk said "This walk is to remember my Dad and to raise money for Weston Park hospital who did a fantastic job of caring for him, we aim to raise £500 and would appreciate any support from Rovers fans."
