1 Step In The Right Direction For Natalie's Recovery.

Twelve year old Natalie Dainty from Wheatley, Doncaster was recently admitted to DRI after a nasty road accident which left her with a broken pelvis.

Natalie is a massive 1 Direction fan, and was recently surprised when she was presented with a Doncaster Rovers programme, signed by Louis Tomlinson from 1D, a photo of him with Donny Dog and a get well message from Donny Dog, Louis and Doncaster Rovers!

Kath Formby, Head of Service of Maple Medical Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) decided to see what she could do to help cheer Natalie up during her stay in hospital, and contacted Rovers and we were more than happy to help out, with Louis’ support.

Maple Medical is a split site ‘Pupil Referral Unit’ (Short Stay School) which serves the whole of the Doncaster area.  All the pupils who attend the Centre have medical needs.  The Hospital School sits under this.

Steve Uttley “We were contacted by Kath Formby about Natalie and we had a programme from the Louis charity match signed by him when he recently attended the training ground. We wanted to make Natalie feel a bit better, so got the photos and programme to her with a get well message.”
