Doncaster Rovers are delighted to confirm that midfielder Dean Furman and Bongani Khumalohave been called up to the South African national side.
After we have completed our home fixture against Leicester City, Dean and Bongani will join up with the South Africa squad ahead of their game with Morocco on Friday 11th October 2013.
This is in addition to midfielder David Cotterill, striker Theo Robinson and defenders Luke McCullough and Evan Finnegan who will all go to represent their respective countries.
Cotterill has been selected for the Wales Senior team for their upcoming ties against Macedonia and Belgium.
The World Cup 2014 Qualifying Group A game against Macedonia will be held at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday, 11 October (Kick-off: 19:45).
The game against table topping Belgium will be played on 15th October in Belgium.
Theo Robinson has been called up for Jamaica’s World Cup Qualifiers against USA and Honduras, whilst Luke McCullough has selected been for the Northern Ireland U21’s.
McCullough will be in contention to face Belgium (home) on October 11 and Serbia on October 15.
Evan Finnegan is on the stand by list for the Republic of Ireland Under 19 squad for the forthcoming Under19 UEFA European Championship Qualifying Tournament to be held in Helsingborg, Sweden from 10th to 15th of October.
