Paul Dickov spoke to the official website and was asked about captain Rob Jones, who went off injured at Reading.
"Rob Jones is going be ok hopefully for the game against Middlesbrough. He did a little bit of work on Wednesday and will train today (Thursday) so should be back in the side. We thought it was really serious at the time but it was mainly bruising with a bit of nerve damage. At the time he could not move his arm and made us think he may have broken it, so he went to hospital for an x-ray, which showed no break.
"It’s still a bit sore but he will want to play so he should be right for Friday. Rob is very important to the side and from the first day I came here, he has been fantastic after doing a great job last season. His performances on and off the pitch have been fantastic and we have a great relationship as manager and captain."
