Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player and was asked about the new signing Suk-Young Yun.
"Yun turned up last week at 4.30 before the Middlesbrough game, which is not ideal but I felt we should put him on the bench. We had hoped that it would only be so he felt at home and he could get a view of how we work but I decided we needed someone on that side at half time. He has now worked and trained with the lads all week and integrated really well.
"Yun is potentially a top player who I watched play in the Olympics last year and at QPR. He is a player who we thought would be outside our range because of the top clubs who QPR beat to get his signature. We have him now till the end of December but I would love to keep him longer but I am pleased that Harry (Redknap) allowed us to take him here. I think he will come in and do well which will be a big plus for us.
"Yun has got a point to prove because he wants to play games, as he is a member of the South Korea World Cup squad, who have told him he needs to be playing regular. That is his inventive to work hard for us to prove that he deserve a starting line up place at next years World Cup."
