Husband Looks Ahead To Burnley

1 October 2013

James Husband spoke exclusively to the Rovers Official Website ahead of this evening’s game against Burnley.

“Last Saturday was a massive game for us and even at this point of the season was like a six pointer!” he said.  “It was good to get another win under our belt especially away and in a derby.

“It was not our best performance but it always pleasing when you don’t play well but still get the win. The last few games we have had some good performances with no rewards”

“We are a confident group of players who all get on as a team and we have added a few players which we now think we can do a job in this league. We want to get as high as we can in this division and feel we have had a reasonable start, so need to now push on and move up the table.”

“I’m passionate and I don’t like losing, so I am very competitive out there which makes me get stuck, in but once I’m off the pitch I don’t carry it with me. You need to have that passion for game to be at this level.”

“It’s Burnley tonight who are in a good vein of form but they have to come to us and try to win the game. We are capable of matching any side and we know tonight is going to be tough but we feel we can hold them and hurt them in front of goal.

“I am sure the gaffer will prepare us for how they play and have a system in place. We will know his plan today and it is up to us to follow his instructions”

“My job will be to try, along with the other defensive players, to keep their two front guys quiet as they are on form.
