The Football League’s annual agents fees report has been released, detailing that total financial commitments made to agents during the 2012/13 season fell by £170,000 compared to the 2011/12 season.
Doncaster Rovers contributed to over 37% of that total reduction, with our own financial commitments to agents falling by £63,000 from £139,000 in the 2011/12 to £76,000 in 2012/13.
In our League 1 Championship winning season, nine other clubs in League 1 committed higher financial payments than Doncaster Rovers.
Doncaster Rovers also committed less to agents than any other club in South Yorkshire, with Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Rotherham United and Chesterfield all recording higher figures.
