Injury Update

19 September 2013

Rovers Official Website caught up with Head Physiotherapist Alex Dalton to get an update on the injury situation at the club.

“Our two long-term casualties, Marc De Val and Jamie McCombe, are still not close to playing yet but they are both progressing well in their rehabilitation.

“Reece Wabara and Ritchie Wellens will both be assessed ahead of the game on Saturday. Reece suffered an impact injury to his foot that has left it heavily bruised and badly swollen with a cut to his big toe.

“We don’t think there is any break just bruising, so we will be assessing it day by day to see if it goes down for the game on Saturday.

“There were no further injuries from the reserve game with Harry Forrester getting 75 minutes after coming back from injury.

“He scored two goals and came through it without any reaction. He had a foot injury in pre-season, which he had got over but took a knock which has kept it out of the team.”
