Keepmoat Stadi-yum - Change is on the menu following fans feedback

As part of the In Rovers We Trust strategy, Doncaster Rovers and the club’s new catering company The Lindley Group have been working hard over the past few weeks to enhance the matchday experience at the Keepmoat by implementing noticeable changes to matchday catering following feedback from supporters.

Following feedback from supporters from the initial Doncaster Rovers matches this season a number of changes to matchday catering have already been actioned.

After concerns by fans over consistency of service at different kiosks and compared to non matchday events, all team leaders in the food kiosks have now been fully trained by a qualified head chef to ensure a high quality, consistent standard across the kiosks.

In order to improve queuing times inside the ground additional kiosks have now been opened to reduce queue times whilst the new Ice Bars will now serve an increased range of food.

Meanwhile additional products have also been added with jacket potatoes are now available at selected kiosks to increase the number of healthy options and from September children’s lunchboxes are also being reintroduced at the request of fans and will now include a special Rovers collectable gift.

Following the introduction of chips to the menu on the back of the last In Rovers We Trust Survey, Lindley catering have now also promised to increase the portions of chips received, again following feedback from fans.

In order to continue to make Keepmoat Stadium “more like home” for Rovers supporters over the coming weeks each of the food kiosks at the Keepmoat are set to be named after a number of Rovers legends and comfort seating in the concourse is set to be installed.

Gavin Baldwin, Chief Executive of Doncaster Rovers said: “Our supporters are at the heart of everything we do and we have been working hard in partnership with The Lindley Group to ensure that we have taken on board fans feedback and positive changes have already been made, with more to still to come.

“We are constantly striving to make the club and the stadium the best it can be and are very proactive with our fan engagement. We believe that our home fans and travelling supporters have a great range of high quality food and beverage options available to them at the various catering kiosks within the Keepmoat.

“I would like to thank our fans for all their comments about the matchday catering and hope that they will be pleased with the improvements that have been made and with the actions that have been scheduled.”
