Rovers Aim To Shock Watford

17 September 2013

Rovers were unlucky not to beat Huddersfield at the weekend, having a total of 23 shots, but couldn’t quite make the breakthrough. We now face Watford in the midweek game.

Vicarage Road will be a tough place to go for Paul Dickov’s men, but they will be hopeful they can come away with something. Rovers have lost only once in their last six games against the Hornets, and are unbeaten on the road this season. So Rovers may well feel they can defy the odds and grab at least a point. Double chance offers great value at 5/4 with Sky Bet.

Rovers have been level at half-time in three of their last four matches against top-half sides like Watford. Furthermore, in the last four head-to-head meetings, three have been level at half-time. Also, in six of Watford’s last seven matches at home, the half-time result has been a draw. Odds of 5/4 look very tempting at Sky Bet.

Other reasons to bet.

- Rovers have had the same number of goals in each half in three of their last four matches
5/2

- Rovers have drawn two of their last three matches 14/5

Both teams have scored in the last four meetings between Watford and Rovers at Vicarage Road 8/11
