Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player after his sides 3-1 home defeat to Reading.

Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player after his sides 3-1 home defeat to Reading.

“It’s disappointing, I thought first half we were excellent, we caused them problems, pressed them all over and got ourselves in front.

“Second half you have to give Reading credit, they did to us what we did to them in the first half.

“We couldn’t really get out, we started playing too many longer balls when we shouldn’t have done.

“The three goals, all goals are poor when you are a manager, but the penalty and two goals after that are disappointing.

“They have got back into the game at 1-1 which is credit to them and we started playing with our hearts instead of our heads and a point might not have been a bad point today.

“We have to deal with it, we are 45 games in and still have a massive fighting chance of staying up, we go to Leicester now knowing that we need a result to stay in this division.”
