Matchday magazine celebrates decade of a Rovers legend.

Your official matchday magazine ‘RTID’ returns this weekend for the visit of Birmingham City to the Keepmoat Stadium and is heavily centred around Rovers Legend James Coppinger’s 400th appearance in a Rovers shirt.

Plans are afoot for ‘Copps’ to be presented with an award for such an historic landmark by Rovers hero Colin Douglas pre-match, while fans are encouraged to hold a minute’s applause for Coppinger on the 26th minute – the shirt number he has worn for over a decade.

The RTID matchday magazine also provides in depth interviews with the man himself and those who have worked closely with him, including former boss Dave Penney and local journalist Steve Hossack.

The crowd favourite won the hearts of the Keepmoat, and Belle Vue faithful, not just for his on field exploits but his excellent professionalism off it and, alongside an extended gallery of Copps’ playing days in the famous red and white hoops, are tales from his fantastic fundraising adventures on the Inca Trek.

Gaffer Paul Dickov speaks about the sides recent impressive run and match gallery photos from hard fought games against Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday, are featured.
For the price of just £3 there are also regular columns from the Rovers Foundation, Belles, SLO’s, VSC, Donny Dog, Supporters Club and Exiles.

Plus, ever wondered what happened to former midfielder Giles Barnes? Alan Smith finds out!

All in this week’s ‘RTID’.
