Likeable Club secretary departs with best wishes.
Doncaster Rovers are sad to confirm that Club Secretary, Phil Hough, is leaving the club after todays game to join Lincolnshire County FA.Phil who has been at the club since the beginning of our last League 1 campaign in 2012 has been an integral part of the management team at the club and his expertise and experience has been invaluable.
Stepping into Phil’s shoes will be Mary Lally, formerly of Leeds United and everyone at Doncaster Rovers wishes her a warm welcome her to the club.
Chief Executive, Gavin Baldwin said: “Phil has been an excellent servant to Doncaster Rovers during his time here, which has seen 2 managerial changes and a series of players joining and leaving the club. Phil has been a devoted employee to Doncaster Rovers and even helped secure the services of Mary Lally, his replacement. I am confident that Phil will not only be a huge success in his new role, but Mary will also be a fine addition to the management team at Doncaster Rovers."
Phil said, “I have really enjoyed my time here in what has been a very active and interesting period in the clubs history especially with the last minute winner at Brentford. I overseen many players coming in and out during this period and have worked hard to make sure all the managers and management have seen a seamless transition of players. I am looking forward to the new challenges of working for the FA at county level but will always remember time at Doncaster Rovers with fond memories.”
