SLO's new recruit

9 August 2014

Rovers welcome another Supporter Liaison Officer to their ranks.

Rovers would like to welcome on board our new Supporter Liaison Officer Dean Parker.
After a successful first year of the SLO initiative, the Club have expanded the department to include Dean alongside our existing - and successful - SLO’s Lee Croft and Mark Hughesman.

Dean said: “I have been a Rovers supporter and season ticket holder for over 20 years, attending almost every match with my Granddad.

“I have been lucky enough to attend all of Rovers’ big games from recent times: the Conference final at Stoke, JPT final in Cardiff, the League One play off final win over Leeds and the epic day away at Brentford.

“I would like to thank all the staff for making me feel welcome and I am looking forward to working with Mark and Lee.”

SLO’s provide a now vital link between the fans and the club to keep all parties up to date on the day to day running of a professional football club as well as providing a warm and friendly welcome to visiting supporters to the Keepmoat Stadium – an accolade that is often laid at their door.

Dean was selected for his good communication skills and passion for the Rovers will be attending his first league game as a SLO on Saturday when we travel to Yeovil Town.
