Fans to benefit from big screen installation.

Doncaster Rovers supporters attending the Keepmoat Stadium are set to have their match day experiences enhanced by the installation of a new big screen.

As part of In Rovers We Trust, the clubs fan engagement project, supporters have requested improvements to the match day experience and that the club look at the possibility of installing a big screen at the ground.  The club are therefore delighted to have been able to respond to fans requests with this latest venture.

The big screen will be located in the South West corner of the stadium and will provide scope for extensive pre-match build up, information and fun features to increase supporters match day experience.  The project is being put into action in association with ADI.tv.



Andrew Whitham, Commercial Manager at Doncaster Rovers said, “It’s a project that’s been on the radar for quite a while now as we’ve wanted to source the best deal for the club.

“It was important that the acquisition of the screen met a certain criteria, two aspects of which were to ensure the acquisition didn’t include any large financial outlay for the club and that we could be successful in using the screen to generate additional revenue.  I’ve pleased we’ve been able to achieve both of those aims.

“Doncaster Rovers continues to respond to fans needs and further the match day experience. The big screen, along with stage 1 of the Heritage project being delivered by the Foundation are just two aspects of this.  In addition to enhancing the match day experience, it will also create a further platform for advertising and allow additional revenues to be generated.”

The screen is scheduled to be in place for October, with the South West corner housing the screen due to the current infrastructure in place at the stadium within that part of the ground.

“We’ve already had expression of interest from a number of companies wishing to use the screen and links with local companies such as Moirae Ltd, who will provide animations for the screen, have already been strengthened on the back of this project.”
