Club welcome Ryan Murrant.
Doncaster Rovers are delighted to announce the appointment of Ryan Murrant as the new Marketing and Communications Manager. Ryan previously worked for Aldershot, Crawley Town and Southend United where he guided each of those clubs to various Football League awards for Family Excellence and Fan Engagement. In 2013 he helped Crawley Town win The Football League’s “Most Improved Family Experience” award, an award Southend were also nominated for in 2014.Ryan, who will continue with the work of Shaun Lockwood and the ‘’In Rovers We Trust” project, said, “I’ve known Shaun through fan engagement activities for a few years and I’ve heard nothing but good things about this fantastic Club and its supporters.
“I’ve been here for a few days already and I can see the positive culture internally that Gavin and Lee have created; it’s second to none. I’m looking forward to going on a journey with Doncaster Rovers. The “In Rovers We Trust” strategy and the Club Doncaster concept are unique and something we should all be proud of. I’m looking forward to meeting the fans, starting with the fans panel and then developing our communications with the fans whilst looking for opportunities that Club Doncaster can bring to our fans that no other club can.”

Shaun did a fantastic job here over the past six years and it’s important that we keep that momentum and make the transition seamless. Ryan has been with us on an interim basis and in his short time with us so far we have seen why he has been so highly rated by his peers.”
