Tuesday 2nd December 2014 (7:45pm), Oakwell, Sky Bet League One.Rovers make the short trip to Oakwell looking to continue their good away form and end a three game winless run against Barnsley on the Reds’ turf.
Tonight’s encounter will be the fifteenth in the league between the pair in the last decade and the clubs – both of whom were relegated from the Championship last term – continue to shadow each other and are level on points this season too.
James Coppinger, a veteran of this fixture, knows of the intensity a derby game brings and has plenty of experience to call upon. His double last season was equalled by the brace of Nick Proschwitz and the spoils were shared.
A rather tame affair at Oakwell in November 2013 preceded the above and the game will forever be remembered for the departure of then Chairman John Ryan, rather than Chris O’Grady’s spot kick that was saved by now Reds ‘keeper Ross Turnbull.
Attendance – 10216
BFC 2 (Proschwitz, 27, 89)
DRFC 2 (Coppinger, 45, 55)

Rovers – Paul Dickov could name another unchanged side from Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Crewe. There are no new injuries concerns around the squad.
Barnsley – Striker Sam Winnall is definitely out, as is the suspended Martin Cranie. Leroy Lita and Kane Hemmings could deputise.
Fancy a flutter? Rovers 9/5, Draw 5/2, Barnsley 8/5
