PD: Injury Update

14 February 2014

Paul Dickov spoke to the official website and gave an update on team news for Saturday’s clash with Barnsley at the Keepmoat Stadium.

“We are looking okay on the injury front.  We took Gabriel Tamas off at half time as a precaution last Saturday and it looks like it was the right thing to do because he did a bit of training yesterday and will hopefully be okay for Barnsley on Saturday.

“Rob Jones has had a bit of a set back, he’s going to have an injection, which was the next procedure from when he first got injured.

“We thought rest and treatment would sort it out, however, he’s still feeling the effects of the injury, so he will have an injection and hopefully that will see him be okay.

“Harry Forrester is a positive, he trained yesterday which is a boost for us, but we are going to have to look after him a little bit.

“With Harry’s ability and the way he performed against Wigan, you want to chuck him straight back into the team because he was fantastic.

“The main thing is he is available for Saturday, it is a massive boost for him and a massive boost for his team mates because they know how good a player he is.

“Harry coming back gives us positive news with the loss of Billy Sharp.”
