Worksop Town training ground experience
Doncaster Rovers were delighted to welcome Worksop Town under 9’s to the Training Ground Complex yesterday afternoon, where they were treated to a special training ground experience as a result of winning the Group Experience ticket Leader board last season (2012/13).
The boys from Worksop Town kicked off the morning with an action packed training session with our Rovers Foundation coaches, before taking time out to watch the first team training session in action.
With a quick stop to warm up and refuel, the boys sat down in the canteen used by the Rovers first team to a lunch consisting of sandwiches and soup courtesy of the Rovers chefs.
Then came the highlight of the day, as the budding footballers were able to meet their heroes. The first team players spent time with Worksop Town, signing autographs and having their pictures taken.
