Long standing Doncaster Rovers supporter Graham Plowright has scratched his way to a 2014/15 season ticket courtesy of Doncaster Rovers.
Graham, aged 58 from Auckley, is the second lucky winner of a season ticket courtesy of a free DRFC scratch card.
Doncaster Rovers recently ran an initiative for fans whereby with every ticket purchase from the club’s ticket office, supporters received a Rovers scratch card free of charge. Season ticket holders were also able to collect a scratch card from the ticket office. There were some fantastic prizes up for grabs and more than 120 prizes have already been claimed.
Lucky Graham is a member of the Rovers lottery and purchased a ten game multi game package this season. He was given his scratch card upon purchasing a ticket for the fixture against Leeds.
He said: “I am absolutely delighted to have won. This year is the first time I haven’t bought a full season ticket for many years, so to have a free season ticket for next year is a real bonus.
“It was so easy to win. I scratched the card in the car and couldn’t believe my luck when I had won. I went back into the ticket office to double check that it was correct!
“I think the scratch cards are a great initiative from Rovers- the club is always really engaging with us as supporters and this is another fantastic idea.
“I would like to thank Rovers for my season ticket and I am looking forward to the 2014/15 season already.”
The scratch card initiative has now finished however there are still lots of prizes yet to be claimed. Doncaster Rovers would like to remind fans that the free and discounted ticket prizes are only valid for the next two fixtures against Wigan Athletic and Charlton Athletic, so make sure you take advantage of your prize.
