Paul updates on signings and Rob Jones
Rovers’ Official Website caught up with Manager Paul Dickov at the training ground today (Tuesday).
Most fans will be wondering if the club will bring in a striker or any other players soon, so we asked Paul the question.
Paul Dickov: “I had hoped to get a striker in for the game last Saturday, but, as I have said all along, these things do not happen quickly because there can be many hurdles to get over concerning the player and the club involved. I have been stuck to the phone and I feel I am close to getting the player I want this week, but, as you know, things can fall through at the last minute for lots of different reasons. So I can say it’s imminent but I will make sure we tell you officially on this website when we have done the deal”.
“The good news this week is that Rob Jones should get 45 minutes in tomorrow’s practice game. This should indicate where he is at in his rehabilitation. This match will also give other players a bit more game time as they come back from lay-offs”.
