Doncaster manager Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player after their 1-0 defeat at Ewood Park
“I’m obviously disappointed with the result, I thought Blackburn started the game really well on the front foot and pegged us back a little bit, we weathered the storm and from about 25 minutes on wards there wasn’t a lot in the game and we settled in well.
“A lapse of concentration just before half time has cost us, when you have players like Jordan Rhodes in your team and Gestede up-front, you make a mistake like that and you are going to get punished.
“We sat the boy down at half time, got into them and just told them to believe a bit more and in the second half I thought we were fantastic and deserved something from the game.
“Paul Robinson showed everyone why he is an England goalkeeper, with two outstanding saves, the first one especially was a world class save and we feel a little bit aggrieved again that we haven’t got anything out of the game.
“The second half gives me a lot of confidence because we are down there at the minute and having a bit of a rough time, but anyone who has seen us here today will know we are good enough to get out of this”.
