Doncaster manager Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player ahead of Saturday's trip to Blackburn Rovers.
“We know it is going to be a tough game, Ewood is a place that is very close to me, I had two fantastic years there and there are a lot of good people at the football club, Gary is doing a great job but I want to go there and win.
“They have got a great set of fans and great people behind the scenes, but that won’t stop me wanting to go there and win and we have to go there and try and win the game because we need to get out of that bottom three and we want to do that on Saturday.
“Jordan (Rhodes) is a top, top striker who scores a lot of goals and if you can keep him quiet you are half-way there but they have a lot of good players throughout their team and Gary has gone in there and given the club a lot of stability this year, they’re a good team with good players but we’ve had that before.
“The most positive thing for me this week is that we have players coming back fit and I think we showed in the first 10-12 games when we had a fully fit squad that we really can compete.
“We have players coming back, we are hoping to get a couple in and we really need to kick start our season now. I know we are more than halfway through but I am more than confident with the ability and the attitude of the players we have got, that we will be okay this year and that has to start on Saturday”.
