The Quick Play Cup pre Wigan game
Doncaster Rovers would like to say a big thank you to the junior football teams from the under 7’s age group that took part in the Quick Play Cup on Saturday at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Doncaster Rovers staff and Rovers foundation coaches were particularly impressed with the attitude of the young players and the skills demonstrated on Saturday. We would also like to say a special thank you to the coaches and parents who came out in force to support the budding footballers.
After an action packed morning of football, the teams took part in a presentation with special guest Donny Dog. Each player was presented with a medal and a draw was then conducted to determine the lucky winners of some fantastic prizes.
Congratulations to the lucky teams that were drawn at random and won the following;
Warmsworth Lions Red – A family ticket for a Doncaster Rovers home game.
Stainforth Juniors – Tickets for the whole team and two coaches to a Doncaster Rovers home game
Warmsworth Lions Blue – A football signed by the Doncaster Rovers squad

After an action packed morning the teams had a quick break before watching Doncaster Rovers secure a 3-0 win against Wigan Athletic, which topped off an all round fantastic day out for the youngsters.
