Forward extends Keepmoat contract.
Rovers can confirm that Alex Peterson has extended his stay at the Keepmoat Stadium by a further 12 months.
Following in the footsteps of new signing NATHAN TYSON, the young striker, just 19 years of age, made five appearances for Paul Dickov’s side in the Sky Bet Championship last term – including a start in the 0-0 draw against Millwall.
Peterson, who came through the youth ranks with Rovers, will be looking to cement his place in the side in League 1 next term and is made his ability clear to see when he notched against Grimsby Town in a routine pre-season win recently.
