Rovers moving in the right direction. spoke to Rovers’ physiotherapist Alex Dalton who revealed that the current squad are injury free at the moment.

The players are due back in to training at the end of June and even fears over centre back Rob Jones’ fitness were eased by the Rovers’ backroom staff.

“Rob Jones is due to see the consultant towards the end of June,” said Dalton, following a serious neck injury to the defender.

“In the meantime, he is keeping up with his rehabilitation by putting in some hours in the gym.”

Dalton also went on to mention that the Cantley Park Training facility is a quiet place at the moment.

“The lads are free to have a bit of down time now and enjoy their holidays,” he said.

“Harry Forrester is one of those players included, he was fit for the final game of the season and we look forward to having him in the squad from the off for the start of next season.”
