Doncaster Rovers manager cannot wait to get his business underway following the takeover.
“We’ll be up there in budget size with four or five clubs that will be looking to go up automatically. As a manager that is all you can ask for.“We want a chance, and this gives us a great chance to deliver. “
Dickov says that Doncaster Rovers have a new selling point now that Louis Tomlinson is on board.
“This budget allows me to change things around if I have to and get some high quality players in for League One.
“I am confident I can put together a team to go straight back up and that’s what I aim to do. “
Both Ryan and Tomlinson have voiced their ambition for the club and stated that they want the club to succeed, starting with promotion back to the Championship.
"We're very ambitious, very enthusiastic and we're going to do the very best we can,” said Tomlinson.
Dickov went on to say that having John Ryan and Louis Tomlinson on board gives him something else to sell to players that he might be looking to bring in.
“The selling point is different because of the ambition the club has got. It is an attraction to players.”
