Rovers players head to their old stamping ground to give something back.
Local Club Denaby United were suitably thrilled when two of their ex-players took up their offer of an invitation to the Club’s presentation night.
Youngsters BILLY WHITEHOUSE
and LEWIS FERGUSON
represented Doncaster Rovers on the evening and such was their positive impact on proceedings that Rovers received a much appreciated and well written letter, it reads:
Dear Doncaster Rovers,
A big thanks to Doncaster Rovers for arranging for Lewis Ferguson and Billy Whitehouse to attend the Junior section U5’s and 6’s presentation afternoon last Saturday. Both the lads were a credit to Rovers, they were well mannered and polite and I’m sure they inspired our young boys and girls to continue playing football by being fantastic role models.
Please pass on our thanks to them, we wish them all the best for the future and with the start of their professional career.
