Figures higher than at same time last year.

Saturday 31st May was the final day for current Doncaster Rovers season ticket holders to secure their seat for next season.

Appetite among supporters has proved high as Paul Dickov’s men look to bounce back to the second tier of English football at the first time of asking.

Rovers are pleased to reveal that sales figures for season tickets are higher than at the same stage last year. By 31st May, sales were 5% higher than this time last year and 13% higher than this point in 2012.

The Club can confirm that the Category C pricing has proven particularly successful with supporters, and sections WSH and WSB are almost completely sold out.

Rovers averaged 9041 last term and the Club is looking to kick on and make the match day experience of fans – new and old – as enjoyable as ever. Through the In Rovers We Trust programme, Doncaster Rovers work closely with supporters to ensure everyone feels proud to be a Rovers fan and valued by their experiences when visiting the Keepmoat Stadium.

Rovers suffered heartache in the final moments of the last game of last season, but the manager – backed by the board – has gone on record as stating that he is working hard to improve the current squad and has the tools at his disposal to make the team competitive in League 1 next term.

Among the sides that Rovers will face are local rivals Sheffield United, Barnsley, Scunthorpe United, Chesterfield and Bradford City.

Season tickets can still be purchased HERE.

On Monday Doncaster Rovers launched a new membership scheme for fans attending games in 2014/15, which provides a discount of up to £4 per game on match day prices.

Available at a price for just £10 for adults, seniors and 17-20 year olds, the membership scheme allows fans to sit in the Polypipe Stand for just £19 per game next season.
