Doncaster Rovers player visits in the community have been highlighted as an example of best practice by the Professional Footballers Association.
The PFA have praised Rovers commitment to player engagement across the Borough and have used Rovers as an example of best practice in their annual review.
“I would like to congratulate all at Rovers for what they are doing in this field, not least Paul Dickov, the management team and the players who are clearly committed to working within their communities.”
Gavin Baldwin, Chief Executive of Doncaster Rovers FC, commented: “It is a real accolade for our player visits to be recognised by the PFA as an example of best practice.
“Our players work hard and are excellent ambassadors for the club and I know they enjoy their visits across the communities in Doncaster.
“Fan and community engagement is a priority at DRFC and I would like to congratulate and thank everyone who works hard delivering this key club initiative.”
